Job Description

Senior Project Manager Merchandising & IT Projects (Long-Term Contract)

Chicago IL Hybrid (flexible schedule)

LongTerm Contract Opportunity

Need (USC/GC)

Must have 7 years retail experience.

Project Manager we are seeking: What Youll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project management for merchandising and IT initiatives (planning execution delivery).
  • Partner with business stakeholders (merchants supply chain finance) and IT teams to align priorities and ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage project timelines budgets risks and vendor relationships.
  • Facilitate Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies as needed.
  • Drive system implementations upgrades and integrations across merchandising and retail platforms.
  • Ensure clear communication and reporting to senior leadership.

Project Manager Skills Were Looking For

  • 7 years of project management experience with proven success in retail merchandising or supply chain technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising systems (allocation assortment planning category management inventory).
  • Experience with ERP POS or retail systems (SAP Oracle Manhattan JDA/Blue Yonder)
  • Background in IT project delivery (SDLC Agile/Scrum technical integrations).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • PMP CSM or SAFe certification is a plus.
