Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilledMetal Polisherto join our team inTulsa OK. This position involvesdeburring grinding and polishingsheet metal and metal castings to meet specific finish requirements. TheMetal Polisherwill work with a variety of metals includingbrassbronzealuminumgold andsilver using both hand tools and power equipment to ensure high-quality surface finishes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deburrgrind andpolishsheet metal and metal castings.
- Usehand and power wheels/beltsto polish various metals including brass bronze aluminum gold and silver.
- Read and interpretjob travelersblueprints and/ordrawingsto determine specific finish requirements.
- Identify and correctdefectsto achieve a smooth specified finish.
- Report any defects to thesupervisor.
- Set up and operate standardmanufacturing equipment.
- Maintain ahigh level of attention to detailand ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Complete assigned work within given timeframes and specifications.
Position Requirements:
- Familiarity withshop equipmentand variouspower tools.
- Ability to work in afast-paced production environment.
- Strongcommunicationandinterpersonal skillsfor effective collaboration.
- Problem-solving andtroubleshooting skills.
- Commitment tohealth and safety standards including reporting hazards and following company procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Must useproper lifting techniquesand be able to lift up to50 lbs.
- Ability to perform essential functions including seeing hearing bending standing walking handling objects pushing/pulling and fine finger movements withmanual dexterity.
- Work in amanufacturing environmentwith exposure tonoisedust andtemperature fluctuations.
