We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Vocational High School Metal Fabrication Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal fabrication and a commitment to teaching students the skills necessary for successful careers in the metalworking Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive metal fabrication curriculum that aligns with MA DESE standards integrating theoretical knowledge with hands-on training in metalworking techniques and processes. Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective instruction on metal fabrication topics including welding machining sheet metal work fabrication processes and safety protocols. Assessment: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and practical skills providing constructive feedback to support student growth and readiness for industry certifications. Classroom and Lab Management: Establish and maintain a positive safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes collaboration critical thinking and technical skills development. Collaboration: Work closely with other vocational program instructors to integrate metal fabrication skills into broader vocational training ensuring students receive a well-rounded education. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional practices and stay updated on industry trends technologies and best practices in metal fabrication education. Parent and Community Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and foster relationships with local metalworking businesses and organizations to support student learning and job placement.
