Development Lead

Integres is seeking a Development Lead to oversee the technical design development and operations of the platform. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with expertise in modern web technologies AWS services and agile delivery. The Development Lead will manage development activities maintain high system uptime and guide the team in building scalable secure and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team in developing and maintaining the platform built on AWS Drupal 10 Python Angular Chalice Aurora RDS RESTful APIs and OpenSearch.

• Manage the platforms architecture ensuring modular scalable and secure design.

• Oversee operations and maintenance ensuring >99% system uptime and robust disaster recovery plans.

• Maintain and update system and security documentation infrastructure design and data dictionaries.

• Drive integration of AWS services system APIs and connections with external platforms (e.g. ).

• Implement proactive monitoring patching and security updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.

• Lead ongoing development to support new statutory administrative and agency requirements.

• Manage version control CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices for code quality and deployment.

• Provide Tier-2/3 escalation support and technical troubleshooting.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.

• 8 years of software development experience with 3 years in a technical leadership role.

• Strong background with AWS infrastructure (Aurora RDS OpenSearch Chalice etc.).

• Experience with Drupal CMS RESTful APIs Angular and Python.

• Knowledge of IT security frameworks A&A processes and federal compliance requirements.

• Proven ability to design and implement scalable maintainable and secure solutions.

• Hands-on experience with GitHub CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tools.

Desired Skills

• Federal government system development experience.

• Familiarity with SBIR/STTR data reporting and requirements.

• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agile Practitioner.
