Job Description

At Rituals we believe in creating meaningful moments and sustainable innovations that inspire everyday well-being. As Senior Sustainable Product Specialist youll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product development; combining luxury with responsibility and performance with sustainability.

You will support our R&D Product Innovation team in creating surprising compliant and sustainable products that align with our Net Zero ambitions. Working closely with colleagues across Innovation Sourcing Quality and Regulatory youll act as the bridge between creativity science and sustainability. From ingredient data and compliance to CO calculations and ESG reporting your expertise will ensure we deliver products that delight our customers while respecting the planet.

You will:

  • Be an active member of our ESG taskforce helping to drive progress in CSRD reporting and metrics.
  • Support NetZero processes by working with low-impact ingredients CO calculations and innovative material alternatives.
  • Safeguard compliance by reviewing product data (PDP) performing quality checks and managing supplier feedback.
  • Report on microplastic legislation and ensure our products stay ahead of evolving global standards.
  • Act as a business ambassador within our Innovation NPD projects bringing market insights trend research and new ideas that support our sustainable innovation goals.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in Innovation Sourcing Quality and Regulatory to ensure a smooth information flow and aligned ways of working.

Qualifications :

High in energy low in ego and with a touch of humour you thrive in a fast-paced innovative environment. You are data-driven passionate about sustainability and able to translate complex technical information into practical solutions. You also bring:

  • A bachelors degree in cosmetic science technology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in FMCG ideally cosmetics.
  • Strong background in cosmetic chemistry sustainability and data management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • A flexible hands-on mindset with a sharp eye for detail.
