Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller to join our dynamic team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP Hyderabad India. As a key member of our finance department you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations ensuring accuracy in reporting and driving financial performance across the organization.
- Direct and supervise the accounting team in managing revenues expenses and inventories
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and management accounts
- Develop and implement robust budgeting and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance in overseeing payroll processing and distribution
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure timely reporting
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and payroll staff
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Qualifications :
- MBA Finance or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in financial software ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
- Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
