Job Description

The Manager Renewal Sales will be responsible for driving subscription/license renewals and recurring revenue from existing customers. This role focuses on customer retention upselling cross-selling and ensuring a smooth renewal process while building long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in IT B2B sales strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal cycle for assigned accounts ensuring timely closure of contracts.

  • Achieve and exceed renewal sales targets and revenue growth objectives.

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.

  • Build strong customer relationships to improve retention and reduce churn.

  • Collaborate with account managers customer success and technical teams to resolve customer concerns before renewal.

  • Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and sales pipeline in CRM.

  • Negotiate renewal terms pricing and contracts in line with company policies.

  • Track customer usage patterns product adoption and satisfaction levels to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Provide insights and feedback from customers to product and marketing teams.

  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes documentation and governance requirements.



Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business IT Sales or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 5 8 years of experience in B2B IT sales with at least 2 3 years in renewal/retention-focused roles.

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS cloud solutions or IT software products (e.g. enterprise software subscription-based models).

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.

  • Excellent negotiation communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce HubSpot or similar).

  • Ability to analyze customer data and provide insights for retention strategies.

  • Self-motivated target-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
