Job Purpose
- The Commissioning Officer will be responsible for supporting the commissioning and financial arrangements in the Education Commissioning Function. The role will ensure the availability of appropriate education services and provision for children and young people including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) aged 0-25. This includes coordinating commissioning activities contract and performance monitoring quality assurance procurement and associated business processes to improve Education Services.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Complete project activities under the guidance of the Commissioning Manager
- Build relationships with partners/organizations to support the development and delivery of Commissioning strategies
- Understand the needs of children and young people with SEND and their families by collating managing and analyzing complex data
- Collate and analyze information on contract performance management and costs
- Provide high-quality coordination and support to routine commissioning business processes
Essential Experience Required
- Experience in commissioning contracting and monitoring of education social care or health processes
- Experience in education social research and/or consultation
- Project management and business management experience
- Experience in Education health health improvement or social care
Essential Qualification Required
- Degree or equivalent preferably in Education social sciences Research or Health related areas
Additional Information
- Working Hours: 37 hours per week
- Hybrid Working: 1One Angel Square Northampton HYBRID WORKING 1 to 2 days per week in the office cannot offer fully remote
- Basic DBS Required
