To enhance our team we are seeking a motivated Sales Development professional to join our EMEA team here at Panopto and make a visible difference for our business. As a Sales Development Representative youll be at the forefront of our revenue engine strategizing executing and optimizing lead generation efforts to build our sales pipeline.

Position Summary:
As a Sales Development Representative you own everything to do with generating new qualified leads for our sales pipeline: strategy planning and making it happen. Youll take full ownership of qualifying potential customers through both inbound (they reach out to us) and outbound (we reach out to them) channels. Youll be expected to meet and exceed activity targets while continuously experimenting with new outreach strategies messaging and tools to uncover high-quality addition to these and other activity targets you explore and recommend new creative outbound sales initiatives to drive qualified sales leads.

Our sales development team is accountable for meeting monthly and quarterly targets and is responsible for two things. First speaking with and qualifying inbound sales leads. Second developing new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting.

Youll also have opportunities to contribute to other initiatives that directly advance our core values and support you in elevating your craft.

How Youll Contribute:

In this role you will:

    • Build Pipeline: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up outbound cold calls LinkedIn messaging and emails.
    • Prospecting: Perform effective discovery calls with prospects and attend in-person trade shows and exhibitions to meet prospects. Understand how the Panopto platform is used by our customers to effectively qualify prospects based on their needs and requirements.
    • Qualifying Leads: Research accounts identify key players and generate interest to maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate on and develop your own demand generation through the creation of campaigns sales leads and initiation of prospect calls. Assist and partner with sales people to help them bring new customers on board. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.

Required Qualifications:

    • 1 years of SDR experience in a B2B SaaS or technology company
    • Fluency in English.
    • Experience working with or similar CRM Outreach or Lusha.
    • Proven inside sales or sales development experience converting prospects.
    • Solid experience in opportunity qualification pre-call planning and call control.
    • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
    • Ability to stay organized multi-task prioritize and manage time effectively.
    • An interest in continuous learning and love trying new things.
    • This is a hybrid role based in London with expectation to be in the office 2 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Second Language fluency in German or French.
    • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
    • Previous success qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
    • Track record of over-achieving quotas targets or goals.
36000 - 39000 a year
Total Rewards:
The base salary for this position is 36000 - 39000 GBP per year. This position is also eligible for commission earnings per the Sales Commissions Plan with an on-target-earnings of 19000 - 21000 GBP as part of the compensation package. The total compensation salary range for this position is 55000 - 60000 GBP per year.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge skills experience and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. What information do we collect

Why does Panopto process personal data

Panopto has a legitimate interest in processing personal data during the recruitment process and for keeping records of the process. Who has access to data
Your information may be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes members of the HR and recruitment team interviewers involved in the recruitment process managers in the business area with a vacancy and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.
We will not share your data with third parties unless your application for employment is successful and we make you an offer of employment. We will then share your data with former employers to obtain references for you employment background check providers to obtain necessary background checks.

How does Panopto protect data
We take the security of your data seriously. We have internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost accidentally destroyed misused or disclosed and is not accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties.

For how long does Panopto keep data
If your application for employment is unsuccessful the organization will hold your data on file for 6 (six) months after the end of the relevant recruitment process. If you agree to allow us to keep your personal data on file we will hold your data on file for a further 6 (six) months for consideration for future employment opportunities. At the end of that period or once you withdraw your consent your data is deleted or destroyed. You will be asked when you submit your CV whether you give us consent to hold your details for the full 12 months in order to be considered for other positions or not.

If your application for employment is successful personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your Human Resources file (electronic and paper based) and retained during your employment. The periods for which your data will be held will be provided to you in a new privacy notice.

Your rights
As a data subject you have a number of rights. You can:
access and obtain a copy of your data on request;
require the organization to change incorrect or incomplete data;
require the organization to delete or stop processing your data for example where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing; and
