Job Summary
The Position:
Summit Search Grouphas been retained byRiverview Health Centre Foundationon the recruitment of their newest Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager. The Donor Relations & Stewardship Manager is a strategic and hands-on fundraising professional who will play a central role in advancing the Foundations major gifts program and donor engagement efforts. This role will manage a portfolio of donors and prospects with a strong focus on cultivating soliciting and stewarding major gifts. The position also contributes to sponsorship development grant writing and the success of Foundation events working collaboratively with colleagues an events consultant and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects by building strong relationships cultivating opportunities and securing philanthropic support.
- Lead donor stewardship by creating high-quality experiences communications and impact reporting that demonstrate accountability and donor recognition.
- Support sponsorship development by identifying and engaging prospective sponsors for Foundation events and initiatives.
- Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and submissions in collaboration with the Executive Director and other team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues on donor engagement strategies campaigns and other fundraising initiatives to advance the Foundations mission.
- Work as part of a team to develop and manage annual giving strategies including direct mail digital campaigns and other broad-based donor appeals.
- Support and grow the Foundations planned giving program ensuring prospective legacy donors are identified cultivated and stewarded appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration Commerce Non-Profit Management or a related field. CFRE considered a strong asset.
- 5 years experience of fundraising experience with demonstrated success in major gifts and donor relations.
- Proven ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies including sponsorship and grant development.
