We proudly service Regional Australia providing a vital link to all major capital cities and beyond our shores using Qantas and its codeshare partners. QantasLink operates to 85 destinations with a fleet size of 117 and growing!

This role is crucial to the success of our airline and with the support of our close-knit Operations Team youll oversee several AOCs operating multiple aircraft type under the QantasLink brand.

As the Regional Crewing Officer responsibilities include managing both Tech and Cabin Crew Rosters by optimising resources to help ensure the schedule is maintained with on-time departures.  Youll work closely with Flight Crew Operations and other departments to ensure all scheduling and regulatory requirements are met.

In addition this role includes administrative tasks designed to provide the highest level of customer service and support to our Flight Crew from coordinating accommodation to ensuring transport is on-time to move our Flight Crew safely. 

Youll have

  • The ability to interpret Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) including Civil Aviation Order (CAO) 48.1 (Fatigue Management)
  • The ability to interpret Airline Awards for Flight and Cabin Crew
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Proven problem-solving skillset with the ability to make decisions promptly prioritise what is critical and then execute a recovery plan
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is critical
  • The ability to work Strong attention to detail autonomously and within a team
  • The ability to work shift work over a 7-day rotating roster
  • Previous experience working for an airline in a Rostering or Crewing function will be highly regarded.
