Job Description
The Lead Solution Architect role is responsible for providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams inthe design and implementation of comprehensive system/product architectures that effectively integrate withSherwins overall IT infrastructure and support key business objectives in the Planning Manufacturing and Inventory space. The incumbent will be responsible forevaluating program or project challenges creating conceptual and logical architectural designs that alleviatechallenges and providing technical guidance in implementing those designs. This will require collaborating withcross-functional teams to resolve system design weaknesses ensuring high-quality performance andmaintainability of the specific hardware and software systems. The Incumbent will ensure that solutionarchitectures align with the overall Enterprise Architecture and meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance in designing and implementing highly complex integrated frameworks tech-stackssystems and platforms that align with and drive the organizations IT strategy and business objectives
- Lead and oversee the entire process of developing application components and integrations ensuring allsolutions align with the business objectives enterprise architecture and performance goals
- Develop and implement best practices and standards for processes and technical specifications related tohardware and software compatibility system interfaces and business application prototypes
- Lead the effort to continuously research and analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to informarchitectural decisions
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams including software developersbusiness analysts enterprise architects and product managers to ensure the successful adoption of industry-leading design and architecture practices
- Provide strategic direction on the development of architectural frameworks patterns and standards used acrossmultiple products or systems
- Provide technical expertise in the evaluation selection and implementation of next-generation technicalinitiatives while also offering guidance as complex technology issues arise
- Provide guidance to the Product teams of the relevance and ability to leverage upcoming enhancements provided by our Cloud vendors in their upcoming releases
- Lead the technical evaluation of new solutions to ensure alignment with existing frameworks and standardsdefined across the organization
- Champion and guide the extended team to adopt and implement leading-edge design and architect practices
- Foster cross-functional collaboration among a diverse range of stakeholders across the business to ensure thatproduct and solution design align with architectural principles policies standards and frameworks

Qualifications
Education
Required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or in lieu of a degree at least 10 years of experience in experience in IT
Preferred
- Expert-level architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF CISSP)
Required Knowledge & Experience
- 8 years of experience in IT or a solution architecture role
- Proven experience in designing complex hardware and software solutions for large-scale IT systems
- Expertise in collaborating communication and presenting with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact business solutions
- Extensive knowledge of modern architectural patterns frameworks and industry best practices
- Expertise with cloud computing data center operations network design and security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to innovate and think creatively
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
- Experience with Oracle Cloud in the manufacturing space
- Experience with various programming languages and operating systems
- Experience with PL/SQL React
