Job Description
Position: FileNet Solution Architect
Location: 100% Remote (Burnaby BC)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Note: Client is based in Burnaby BC so need to work as per PST timings between 8:00 AM 5:00 PM PST
Top Required skills: IBM FileNet P8 ECM General Records Management/ER 5 Plus years of Solution Architecture experience on Information Technology projects. 10 years of total experience.
Role Overview: Youll provide thought leadership to clients and sales executives across Canada. We are seeking Solution Architect based in Vancouver and implementing effective business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to understand business challenges and design ECM solutions.
- Support opportunity pursuits from awareness to proposal and deal closure.
- Assist in developing platform strategies business cases and investment justifications.
- Define solution approach estimate work effort and provide implementation oversight.
- Deliver advisory services solution architectures and QA on delivery projects.
- Mentor staff and capture knowledge assets for reusability.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
- 10 years in IT projects including 3-5 years in Solution Architecture
- 5 years in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) preferably with FileNet P8.
- Strong integration experience with FileNet APIs CMIS WebSphere/Weblogo
- Expertise in FileNet P8 (5.5.1) configuration and administration
- Consulting experience with complex IT projects and client engagement.
- Strong communication facilitation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the Utilities sector and Crown corporation environment.
