Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our First Quality located in Lewistown PA. This position will be responsible for executing most tasks within the Facilities Maintenance group

Primary responsibilities include:

• • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times. (PPE LOTO construction safety etc)

  • Participate as needed in the maintenance and repair of facility service systems

  • Perform electrical systems installation maintenance and repair

  • Perform carpentry work (fabrication of crates platforms tables framing and associated installation)

  • Repair and install drywall

  • Paint walls guards floors parking lines etc

  • Perform lifting with proper rigging techniques

  • Install and repair door lock equipment and door hardware; and know the facility lock system

  • Train other team members

  • Drill and tap all sizes properly

  • Use hand and power tools (bandsaw table saw bench and hand grinders sanders snow blower etc.)

  • Practice good hygiene treating everyone with respect being constructive and tactful communicating with your team and customers and abiding by company policies and procedures

  • Off-shift call-in availability
