You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder general direction install maintain and repair machinery equipment building systems and plant utilities in a fast paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Execute a proactive PM program respond to breakdowns and complete high quality repairs across mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems to maximize uptime and safety.
B) Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance
Complete PM routes & checklists; visually inspect equipment; listen for abnormal sounds; verify setpoints; lubricate components; replace filters and consumables.
Mechanical Systems
Repair/replace mechanical components (bearing assemblies chains belts gears slide wear plates); install forging dies/fixtures; align & balance equipment after installs/repairs.
Electrical Systems (to 480V)
Troubleshoot control circuits & power distribution (transformers PSUs contactors relays motor starters/overloads) up to 480V; support motor diagnostics.
Hydraulic Systems
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic circuits (pressure loss cylinder actuation faults pump/valve failures); replace pumps/motors/cylinders/valves; verify system pressures.
Technical Reference & Planning
Read & interpret prints diagrams schematics and manuals; plan and lay out repair work; coordinate parts and service when needed.
Tools & Equipment
Safely operate hand/power tools precision instruments and electrical/electronic testers; perform cutting/welding as required; operate overhead cranes/hoists forklifts and scissor/boom lifts.
Safety & Housekeeping
Maintain a safe organized work area; comply with LOTO and all site safety procedures; complete required documentation.
Documentation
Record maintenance performed parts used cause codes and follow up tasks in the CMMS.
High school diploma or GED.
3 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Ability to compute measurements and apply basic algebra/geometry.
Ability to follow written oral or diagram instructions and solve problems with several variables in standardized situations.
Willingness/ability to complete required off site physical and meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements.
Manufacturing environment with moving machinery noise heat; frequent standing walking reaching; regular lifting up to 50 lbs; use of required PPE and uniforms provided by employer.
