Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Charlotte North Carolina
Job Description:
- Perform preventive predictive and reactive maintenance
- Operate standard and precision maintenance tools
- Work with mechanical trades: welding pipefitting fabrication etc.
- Interpret mechanical schematics blueprints and manuals
- Document maintenance activities using maintenance software
- Operate forklifts loaders scissor lifts aerial lifts
- Maintain safe clean working environment
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs bend kneel climb crawl twist
- Comfortable working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions
- Able to work in elevated areas and confined spaces
- English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to work overtime weekends holidays or other shifts
- Demonstrated experience in at least 1-2 maintenance trades
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in maintenance trades such as:
- Rigging systems
- Bearings & lubrication
- Pumps & piping systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Familiar with safety practices (e.g. PJHA confined space entry)
- Trade school certification or relevant military experience
- Precision maintenance experience (laser alignment dial indicators)
