Role Summary
This role involves analyzing financial transactions identifying discrepancies and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail a solid accounting background and experience in financial reconciliation within an ERP environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintaining financial records: Keeping track of all expenses and transactions made by the organization.
- Reconciling accounts: Comparing financial statements with actual transactions to identify discrepancies.
- Analyzing financial trends: Reviewing expenses and financial data to provide recommendations to senior executives.
- Ensuring compliance: Following standard procedures and regulations to maintain financial integrity.
- Preparing reports: Assisting with financial audits and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- Semi-qualified CA ICWA/CMA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reconciliation roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP Pivot Tables).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Tally).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
