Job Description
Position:Fiduciary Tax Assistant
Location: Providence RI
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Contract Assignment: 9/29/2025 - 4/15/2026
Pay: $22.00 - $24.86 hourly paid weekly.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to provide administrative support to our Fiduciary Trust Tax Officer and assist with managing assigned client accounts. This role emphasizes client service excellence regulatory compliance and collaboration across teams.
The ideal candidate is organized eager to learn and looking to grow in a professional fiduciary tax environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support to the Fiduciary Trust Tax Officer.
- Manage assigned client accounts with a focus on service quality and compliance.
- Identify and escalate potential risks in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and efficient administrative processes.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in fiduciary tax services or a similar professional environment.
- Bachelors degree preferred (Accounting Finance or Law) but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Client service-focused and eager to learn tax technical skills.
Working Conditions:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Use of computers and technology.
