Job Description

Administrative Support/ Assistant

Summary/Objective:

Seeking an Administrative Support professional for the Easement Department in our Mitchell SD office (PT/FT). This role will manage easement documentation track and file records and provide clear organized support to the team and property owners. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented self-motivated and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Print and mail easement packets to property owners and relevant parties.
  • Track outgoing and incoming mail and update various internal trackers accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of received signed easements.
  • File signed easements with the appropriate jurisdiction or governing body.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with the easement team to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Compose edit proofread and format written materials with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Manage special projects by establishing objectives setting priorities coordinating with others and adjusting plans as needed.

Required Skills and Qualities:

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex documentation with precision.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Capable of handling multiple tasks and maintaining structured records.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Self-Starter: Proactive in identifying tasks and taking initiative.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Comfortable managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook etc.).
