Executive Secretary / Administrative Assistant
FedTec is seeking highly organized and professional Executive Secretary / Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to Supervisor and the executive office team. This role is responsible for managing incoming communications maintaining schedules and ensuring smooth coordination across executive-level stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment professionalism and the ability to work in a fast-paced high-visibility environment.
Location: Sacramento CA (100% onsite)
Job Type: Temporary (2-3 months)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and accuracy.
- Review prioritize and respond to incoming emails on behalf of Supervisor Hume.
- Maintain Supervisor Hume s calendar including scheduling meetings appointments and events.
- Coordinate communications with executive county staff department heads jurisdictional agencies (city county state federal) and business leaders.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Prepare meeting agendas notes and other administrative documents as needed.
- Provide direct administrative support to Supervisor Hume and collaborate closely with two additional team members.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating office operations to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support special projects community events and outreach activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an executive assistant administrative assistant or secretary role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for executive-level correspondence.
- Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel Teams) and general office technology.
- Ability to multitask manage priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor strong customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with external agencies and community leaders.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
