JOB SUMMARY:

The Coordinator of Student Development serves as the first point of contact and communication for all student parent and faculty/staff inquires in regard to student development student programs and student wellness. This role has primary responsibility for maintaining student records (noneducational) for the College. This is a 12-month PT position (20 hours a week). Scheduled hours will be between the hours of M-F 8:30 am 5:00 pm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct administrative support to Dean of Students
  • Creates and maintains permanent files on traditional students
  • Creates and maintains confidential judicial files
  • Schedules appointments for Dean of Students Residence Life Staff the Health Center and the Counseling Center
  • Assist Director of Student Health and Director of Student Counseling with maintaining student records during Orientation and summer/off months and with referrals
  • Assist Director of Student Health with appointment scheduling and all administrative processes related to managing student health during campus health emergencies
  • Assists with ID Card processing
  • Provides customer service regarding parent concerns
  • Track and verify expenses
  • Handle and process receipts invoices and disbursements
  • Assist additional departments with events Fall and Spring Convocations Commencement etc.
  • Serve as a member of the Student Development staff and participate in planning meetings and activities
  • Ability to work within a team or independently
  • Confidentiality

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organization skills and detail oriented
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to effectively and appropriately respond via phone email and other communication with a broad range of internal and external College constituents
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
