Job Description

Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as a full-time Desktop Publisher for our Printing Services Department. This individual will be responsible providing the layout and design of training material and other material requested for the college. This position is full-time/exempt.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes layout and design assignments using various Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Provides support to graphic staff;
  • Provides completed deliverables suitable for reproduction and distribution in various print and digital formats;
  • Performs general office administrative tasks including ordering materials and keeping track of inventories.
  • Provides production support for manual tasks;
  • Assembles and binds training materials;
  • Works with directors instructional developers subject matter experts and video and animation production personnel in a team environment; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Skill in the provision of customer services
  • Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs primarily Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of color copier production
  • Knowledge of wide-format

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of related work experience

Salary/Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include state holidays annual leave and sick leave State of Georgia Retirement Health and Flexible Benefits Program.
