Position Summary
As Business Development Representative USA you will be responsible for identifying qualifying and develop sales and drive revenue growth in the US. You will work with existing customers strategic key accounts and pursue relationships with potential new accounts. The candidate will interact with all organizational levels maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Engage potential customers understand their needs and connect with them to ensure customer satisfaction and promote PHT.
Job Description (general items but does not include all job duties):
- Drive new business expansion opportunities with new and current customers
- Contract Negotiation and Management
- Tactical cross / upselling of the companys business segments
- Report regular summaries of performance to goals completion and plan for the following month
- Maintain a steady flow of qualified opportunities to promote the sales pipeline
- Update and meet yearly budgets and forecasting for customer base
Education:
- Bachelors Degree chemistry (chemical engineer)
Experience Requirements: (trading)
- >3 years track record in a chemical trading space
- Similar customer network to PHT
- Key account management experience is a plus
- Salesforce experience is a plus
Qualifications Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work well with diverse personality types (Diplomacy and professional communication for both internal and external communication are required and expected.)
- Excellent and effective time management skills
- Ability to set and manage priorities
- Exceptionally self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized and follow up on all outstanding items
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate in English both oral and written
- At least an intermediate level on computer skills with proficiency in Office 365
- Ability to explain technical chemical products in a clear business-oriented way
