BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

BNP Helpline at the PO was established when the Universal Coverage initiative was announced by BISP for Balochistan. It is being sustained as beneficiaries are continually reaching out through phone calls.

Since Sep-2024 the helpline desk in Balochistan has shifted its focus from handling universal coverage queries to proactively following up on due compliance cases of BNP enrolled beneficiaries and the Adolescent Nutrition Program under the BNP ongoing at District Lasbela. The helpline is a key part of the currently proposed provincial Social Mobilization strategy approved by the ISU on July 23 2025 for a period of 11 months ending on June 30 2026 and is integral to the Benazir Nashonuma Case Management system. The strategy includes a proposal to add a new call operator creating a three-person team to handle caller queries.

JOB PURPOSE:

Under the overall supervision of the Programme Policy Officer based in Quetta the incumbent will be responsible for taking calls from the public to address a variety of questions and issues. The incumbent will be required to proactively contact beneficiaries to improve follow-up rates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive nor exhaustive):

1.Provide support by providing information on the programs eligibility criteria.

2.Guide beneficiaries through the application process.

3.Direct beneficiaries to the nearest facilitation center.

4.Answer questions about the programs benefits

5.Provide support and guidance to beneficiaries.

a log of complains or queries and redirect those to the relevant unit / concerned staff.

7. Any other duties in line with the position level and expertise.
