Job Description

Omni Hilton Head is seeking a Guest Services Telephone Operator to be the warm and welcoming voice of our this vital role you will create a positive first impression by promptly answering calls connecting guests and associates to the right resources and delivering exceptional service with efficiency professionalism and careupholding the high standards that define the Omni experience.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Professionally answer and operate the PBX console.

  • Promptly direct incoming calls to the appropriate team members or departments.

  • Provide courteous assistance to all guests and associates.

  • Respond to inquiries through the Omni Prompt Response Help Line.

  • Schedule and deliver accurate wake-up calls.

Tools & Equipment:

  • Telephone and console

  • Computer and keyboard

  • Pen/pencil file folders filing cabinet

  • Photocopier printer and fax machine

Working Environment:

  • Indoor office environment within the hotel operating under normal office conditions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English required.

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and active listening skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable using telephones computers and related office equipment.

  • Professional friendly and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and associates.

  • Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.
