This is a part-time student federal work study non-exempt and non benefits-eligible position. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:.
FAFSA Lab Assistant will work under the direction of the Financial Aid Coordinator to provide guidance to students and public seeking assistance with financial aid paperwork and process in the FAFSA Lab.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Will assist students and public to complete the financial aid application process; this will include a variety of paperwork online processes and potential referral sot alternate resources.
AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS:
Will assist in keeping the office neat and orderly and in miscellaneous office projects and event planning as they arise.
Must be trustworthy and independently responsible.
Must have good people skills and the ability to professionally assist people as they stop in the office.
Must be efficient and comfortable using a personal computer to generate documents access files and access internet pages.
Must have a basic understanding of financial aid and be excited to learn about more in-depth research process and procedures pertaining to financial aid.
Ability to exemplify traits that reflect the Colleges culture including integrity a customer service orientation cultural competency trustworthiness flexibility and a willingness to change.
