Software Engineering Intern

Location: Sydney Australia
Duration: 3-month Internship

Join our Digital PD team for a hands-on internship where youll work alongside experienced engineers contribute to meaningful projects and explore the cutting edge of cloud-native healthcare platforms.

What Youll Do

As a Software Engineering Intern youll dive into the full software development lifecycle with guidance and mentorship every step of the way. Youll get to:

Build and enhance features on our web platforms (frontend backend)

Support cloud service development and deployment using AWS

Write clean maintainable code and automated unit tests

Join team discussions sprint planning and code reviews

Help improve CI/CD pipelines and automation processes

Your work will be scoped to match your experience and youll be supported by a team that loves to learn and grow together.

Who You Are

Were looking for enthusiastic students who are ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact. You should be:

Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field

Familiar with object-oriented programming (Java Python JavaScript)

A strong communicator with a collaborative mindset

Eager to learn and solve problems

Interested in cloud computing or healthcare tech (bonus points!)

Technologies You Might Explore

No prior experience well help you get there. You may gain exposure to:

Languages- Java JavaScript/TypeScript Python

Frameworks- Spring Boot React

Cloud Platforms- AWS (Lambda ECS DynamoDB etc.)

DevOps Tools- Jenkins Terraform AWS CodePipeline

Databases- SQL NoSQL DynamoDB RDS
