Whats the role

The Axiom Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of regulatory reporting systems working closely with the Technical Delivery Lead to ensure all deliverables meet architectural technical security and data access standards. The role is also accountable for conducting unit testing to achieve quality metrics and for proactively identifying and managing data risks while ensuring they are clearly communicated to all relevant parties.

Additionally this position will oversee the full development life cycle from initial build through to deployment into Production environments.

What do I need

  • Advanced development experience and SME using AxiomSL.
  • We are keen to learn about your strong Axiom Developer SME and work with regulatory reporting and risk projects.
  • V10 experience and strong Taxonomy experience is mandatory; APRA taxonomy experience is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of individual Axiom objects (Aggregation Data Models Portfolios Stream and Instance Keys etc.) including their configurations and settings.
  • Design and development ability based on business requirements gathering and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor CV patches and taxonomy upgrades environment setup development and testing tasks through to completion.
  • Define clear success criteria with a focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement.
  • Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services organisations is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Control-M is a plus.
