About the Role

A Senior Trade Operations Analyst will work as part of a team in a fast-paced fluid environment where ability to prioritize multiple tasks while experiencing short-term interruptions are highly valued The incumbent will work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues around the world. The primary responsibilities of a Senior Trade Operations Analyst will be problem solving and troubleshooting trade issues running initiatives/projects and acting as an escalation to more junior team members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A Senior Trade Operations Analyst will:

• Research and resolve equity and fixed incometrade and FX discrepancies by interacting with brokers banks and Wellington personnel

• Overdraft claims research and resolution including zero tolerant clients and CSDR debits and credits

• Oversee workflows performed by our offshore team (Accenture)

• Instruct trades and trade amendments to service providers when necessary

• Oversee external service providers (i.e. brokers banks and vendors)

• Manage strategic projects and initiatives as well as prioritizing information technology needs and requirements

• Mitigate risk through strong procedural discipline and prudent judgement

• Research and evaluate operational requirements of new market/asset types being considered for investment or changes to existing markets

• Assist other areas of the firm to support client needs and respond to general custody and trading inquires

QUALIFICATIONS

A Trade Operations Analyst must be able to work quickly and accurately under pressure possess a high degree of analytical ability and can plan/prioritize tasks in a fluid environment. Team orientation and the ability to work in concert with external service providers and colleagues located around the world are essential. Successful candidates must have impeccable integrity a fiduciary mindset and the ability to consistently place the interest of our clients as the number one factor in judgment decision-making and actions. Knowledge of equities fixed income and foreign exchange is preferred but not required.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience required.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and setting priorities when working within time constraints.

• In-depth knowledge of Global Markets and experience liaising with banks and brokers.

• Experience with commonly used business applications such as Bank websites ALERT OASYS Bloomberg Omgeo Connect/CTM Omgeo TradeSuite and SWIFT preferred.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Access Excel) is required and technical skills such as Python PL SQL will be viewed favorably
