Position Overview
Infocentric is seeking an experienced IT Supervisor to lead and manage daily IT operations across infrastructure support and service delivery. This role ensures the stability reliability and security of IT systems while aligning technology operations with business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation proven leadership experience and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Supervise daily IT operations including network server storage cloud and end-user support
- Monitor system performance availability and capacity to ensure uninterrupted business operations
- Implement and maintain IT operational policies procedures and standards
Team Leadership
- Lead mentor and evaluate IT support staff
- Ensure effective workload distribution and high-quality service delivery
- Provide training and development opportunities to build team capability
Incident & Problem Management
- Oversee IT helpdesk and resolver groups for timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Escalate critical issues to vendors or higher management when necessary
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Systems & Infrastructure Support
- Ensure proper maintenance upgrades and patching of servers networks and enterprise applications
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT infrastructure and managed services
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies IT security standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate IT documentation inventories and operational reports
- Assist in IT audits and risk assessments
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize IT processes automation and service delivery
- Recommend technology improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure: servers networks storage cloud virtualization and enterprise applications
- Experience in ITIL practices (incident problem and change management)
- Excellent leadership problem-solving and communication skills
- Certifications such as ITIL CompTIA Network/Security Microsoft AWS Cisco are a plus
