Job Description
As a Housekeeping Inspector at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort youll be the quality guardian who ensures every guest room and public space meets our exceptional standards. Youre not just checking boxesyoure the person who catches the details that make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Your inspections directly impact guest satisfaction and youll mentor housekeeping staff to maintain the high standards that keep our resort ranked among the top destinations on the Oregon Coast.
About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States according to Golf Digest. The resort also has an award-winning par-3 course Bandon Preserve and the new Shortys opened in 2024. The two short courses are Courses with a Mission with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

What Youll Do:
- Ensure every space meets our standards. Youll conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas documenting findings and working with housekeeping staff to make immediate corrections. When something isnt right youll catch it before guests do.
- Train and mentor the team. Youll work alongside the Housekeeping Supervisor to show new team members proper cleaning techniques and quality standards. Your hands-on guidance helps people develop skills and take pride in their work.
- Keep operations running smoothly. Youll monitor inventory levels of linens amenities and cleaning supplies reporting needs before we run short. Youll also handle guest requests professionally and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Maintain safety and compliance. Youll ensure all staff follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment reporting safety concerns immediately to keep everyone protected.
- Support during busy periods. When were at capacity or hosting special events youll jump in to help with room setup furniture arrangement and deep cleaning tasks to keep everything on schedule.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- You have housekeeping experience. Ideally youve worked in a hotel or resort environment for at least a year and understand what quality looks like. If you have leadership or training experience even better.
- You notice the details others miss. You can spot when something isnt quite rightwhether its a missed spot incorrectly placed amenity or maintenance issue that needs attention.
- You communicate well. You can explain proper techniques to team members interact professionally with guests and clearly document your findings for supervisors and maintenance teams.
- Youre physically ready for the work. Youll be standing walking and occasionally lifting for several hours at a time. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance and frequently handling 20-30 pounds.
