Job Description
As a Bartender you will greet guests warmly and prepare drinks to order. To thrive in this role you should have at least one year of bartending experience be dependable have a positive attitude and have the desire to learn and create memorable experiences for our guests.
Please note: Applicants must be at least 21 years old as this position involves serving alcohol.

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course Shortys will open in 2024. The two short courses are Courses with a Mission with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

Responsibilities that Await You:
- Prepare for opening/Shift changes and/or closing according to Company procedures including cleaning inspection for adequate supplies procuring additional supplies as necessary and preparing garnishes mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greet guests as they enter the bar area.
- Mix prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes.
- Collect checks/payment for drinks served.
- Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintain and cleans bar equipment.
- Maintain records of liquors beers wine tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
- Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand. Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports.
- Clean and lock-up according to Company procedures
- Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions decimals and percentages
- Retrieve read and interpret information from technical sources
- Operate in accordance with OLCC and Company guidelines.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- 1 year bartending experience preferred.
- Demonstrated quality written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude professional manner and appearance in all situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to:
- Read write and communicate verbally in English with other Staff Members and/or Customers
- Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions
- Visually inspect all work areas food service
- Stand sit walk push pull lift grasp bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance 30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly
