What impact does the role have on the company
As a consultant you are the face of BostonHCP. Your work will allow us to continue to help grow our reputation within multiple industries. You will be contributing to our bottom line while also adding to our culture and community.

Who will you interact with
As a member of the team we interact a lot. You will be interacting with all of us daily. With your clients it will be with founders CEOs HR and any hiring managers that you will be helping recruit for.
What does success look like after the first three months
In your first three months you will have learned to use all of our tools and technologies. You are interfacing with your client directly. You are already able to gauge the quality of talent. You are billing at least 25 hours per week

What does success look like after six months
By the end of six months you will be billing full-time and taking on more challenging roles and clients. You can break down requirements and sources with minimum direction. And are starting to build an ability to think outside the box. You are becoming stronger and more confident in your negotiation skills. You continue to add value to our team by injecting your personality and comradery.

What does success look like after nine months
By nine months you are actively engaged with all your clients. You can manage them on your own. You are starting to learn how to push back and challenge your clients when needed. You embrace the opportunity to apply your craft across any client because you are feeling more and more confident in your role.

After twelve months what will they have accomplished
You are earning the trust and confidence immediately from your clients. They value you as an engaged member of their team. You are eager to take on any role and see the value that harder roles and tougher clients mean in honing your craft. Your clients are truly starting to see you as a trusted advisor


KEY CHALLENGES
We are 100% remote workforce. While we are intentional with our daily huddles it can be hard for a lot of people to maintain your drive. Once most people get accustomed to it it can be incredibly rewarding. For others their discipline can wane and can become demotivated. A lot of work is sourcing; actively trying to recruit people who arent necessarily looking. While we use email rather than cold-calling it still requires a lot of repetitive work. To help combat that our team relies on gamifying our workflow to keep us inspired. We are an incredibly supportive team but our world is fast-paced so once you fall behind it can be incredibly difficult to regain your footing.
