Cyclic Operator Tauranga
Join our Tauranga team as a Cyclic Operator and become a valued part of the TCC Maintenance whnau. Youll complete daily network inspections and essential maintenance making sure our roads are safe and well looked after. Your proactive approach and people-first attitude will help you build genuine relationships with colleagues stakeholders and the wider community.
What youll be doing
No two days are quite the same your hands-on work will include:
Responding to urgent health and safety issues from accident debris clean-up to network hazards
Pothole repairs edge breaks and replacing edge or culvert marker posts
Quick-fix concrete repairs to keep things safe
Installing and maintaining signage cleaning signs and removing graffiti
Traffic management for designated roads
Vegetation management around key areas
Sight rail maintenance and repairs
Using RAMM technology to log and complete jobs
Emergency response and storm clean-up
Finding and fixing the small (but important) things that keep our roads running smoothly
Participating in our on-call roster (every 6 weeks)
