Managed Services is a business segment that supports the Customer Channels Group which provides critical on-site services at customer locations focused on research operations efficiency and effectiveness.
The Laboratory Support Technician (m/f/d) provides comprehensive technical and operational support to ensure smooth functioning of laboratory activities.
Operate clean and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure world-class functionality.
Perform routine checks calibrations and functional tests on instruments to maintain outstanding accuracy.
Prepare buffers GMP/GSP solutions reagents wash buffers quench solutions and other laboratory solutions following strict protocols.
Manage consumables through ordering KanBan tracking restocking and inventory control to ensure seamless operations.
Safely collect segregate and dispose of chemical solvent and pharmaceutical waste; maintain hazard registers and safety documentation.
Support internal logistics including shipment of materials mail distribution and archiving of lab records.
Conduct non-GMP laboratory activities such as LCMS vial cleaning chromatography solvent preparation and general lab upkeep.
Adhere strictly to SOPs GMP/GSP regulations and site safety guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
Technical education in chemistry biology or related field or equivalent laboratory experience.
Good knowledge of laboratory safety GMP/GSP requirements and technical documentation.
Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and preparing solutions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Capability to operate autonomously and within a collaborative setting.
Problem-solving approach and willingness to learn.
Laboratory-based role with routine handling of chemicals and reagents.
Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Some physical activity (lifting transporting laboratory consumables).
