Position Overview
Under direct supervision of the Executive Director of the PNGC the incumbent is responsible for all monitoring and investigating compliance for Gaming Facilities in accordance with Tribal State and Federal Law within Pawnee Nation jurisdiction. The Field Investigator will assist with general administrative and clerical support services for the Gaming Commission.
Essential Functions
Primary function will be to provide support and assistance to the Executive Director PNGC
Monitor Gaming Facility Compliance with Tribal State and Federal Law
Participates in and conducts investigations when necessary and appropriate
Assists with audits as required by the Tribal State and Federal Law
Develops and submits an annual audit plan for monitoring Gaming Facility compliance
Provides written notice of audit findings and written recommendations for resolution of the audit findings
Monitors shipping receiving installation relocation removal storage etc. of gaming machines and supplies
Conduct tests of gaming equipment and supplies
Use of personal vehicles to travel from the Gaming Commission Office to Pawnee Nations Casinos trainings meetings conferences presentations and other events where use of personal vehicle is required and will have that travel mileage reimbursed
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Educational Requirements
Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: Associates Degree in Business Law or other Casino Gaming Industry related field of study.
Experience Requirements
Minimum: One (1) year of directly related work experience.
Preferred: Five (5) years tribal government and/or direct work-related experience.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Ability to obtain a License in accordance with the Pawnee Nation Gaming Ordinance
Proficiency in commonly used computer applications including Microsoft Office
Proficiency in the proper use and operation of common office equipment
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors external vendors and other concerned parties
Must be able to effectively conduct research analyze information interpret data and prepare business reports
Must demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
Must be available for work-related travel
Skilled in the use of business communications
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly is required to sit and use hands to write or type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee occasionally is required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. There is regular interaction with the public other agencies and employees. Tight time constraints and multiple demands from several people are common. Travel may be required for training meetings conferences presentations and other events.
Full-Time
