Job Summary

    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study Student position in the KCSS Radio Station.

    • Start Date
    • Positionavailable on or after September 8 2025 and ending on or before May 22 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget department needs and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist with general clerical and receptionist duties.
      • Assist with sorting incoming mail and make on-campus deliveries as needed.
      • Assist with answering telephones and accurately take messages or direct calls as needed.
      • Assist with replenishing office supplies.
      • Assist with maintaining departmental logs.
      • Assist with scheduling advising appointments.
      • Assist with setting up new student files.
      • Assist with maintaining departmental conference room calendar.
      • Assist with departmental events.
      • Assist with posting fliers around campus.
      • Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills.
      • Demonstrates proper phone etiquette.
      • Demonstrates basic computer skills including knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
      • Demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and communicate instructions to others.
      • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and be professional.
      • Demonstrates the ability to be punctual dependable and trustworthy while having a good attitude.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
    • Salary Range
    • $16.50 per hour.
