Who are we looking for

As the Human Resources Manager at Composite Resources you will take the lead in managing and streamlining the Human Resources function. This role offers the opportunity to provide proactive and organized HR support to managers and employees while collaborating with leadership to foster a dynamic and people-focused environment. At the same time you will partner with the HQ Human Resources team to deliver support in organizational planning and employee development initiatives. We are seeking a hire with an ability to blend operational expertise with strategic insight to empower teams grow talent and support a thriving workplace culture!

  • Oversee the full cycle of employment processes. Serving as the first line of support to employees for human resources administration and day-to-day activities. Respond to general HR inquiries including but not limited to employment and benefit and leave programs.
  • Coordinate and support recruitment with Talent Acquisition team as needed.
  • Work closely with site leadership on key talent management priorities such as organization structure onboarding and career development. Conduct exit interviews and assist in coordination of termination and off-boarding procedures.
  • Generates payroll for local site
  • Facilitate performance review process providing guidance tools and training for managers and employees as needed.
  • Support managers and employees with performance management processes including mentoring performance development plans and corrective action advancing complex issues as needed.
  • Support the development of effective local HR policies practices and guidelines.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on a variety of HR issues offering strategic counsel to drive success.
  • Partner with employees and management in presenting and implementing policies practices business procedures and guidelines for compliance.
  • Advise managers and employees on organizational policy matters such as FMLA COBRA and harassment policies.
  • Handle critical aspects of HR including employment relations HRIS/Payroll systems compensation benefits administration and HR-related training.
  • Track and coordinate all employee leave of absence activities including FMLA STD LTD. Manage communications with employees on leave of absence programs and benefits. Coordinate communication with internal supervisors/managers and other business partners on status updates.
  • Conduct Open Enrollment Meetings and other benefit communication sessions
  • Support the alignment and execution of compensation processes including annual planning job benchmarking and routine payroll processing. Maintain the wage & salary administration software with accurate and up-to-date employee information.
  • Assist in gathering and preparing HR data for reporting requirements and analysis.
  • Assist in planning and coordination of company events initiatives programs and special projects.
  • Maintains local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and local policies that differ from HQ RBM. Keep up a local handbook addendum.
  • Assist in preparation of the sites AA Plans
  • Investigate workplace accidents and prepare reporting for insurance purposes.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect human resources operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Raise complex issues to Management as appropriate.
  • Available to support HQ HR function as needed and as time allows.

What you will bring to the Team

  • Bachelors degree plus equivalent experience in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years of proven experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint SharePoint.
  • Must possess fundamental working knowledge of HRIS.
  • Strong written and verbal commutation skills strongly desired
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Experience with gathering and interpreting relevant data and information thinking analytically and solving problems.
  • Proven track record to successfully exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Project Management skills a plus
  • Experience in resolve workplace conflict and liaising between parties.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation Range $700000 - $100000 depending on candidate work experience and qualifications
  • Additionally we have an annual bonus and long term incentive.

Location Requirement: Position is based out of Rock Hill SC
