As Technology & Data Risk Manager youll provide expert oversight of technology data and AI-related risks partnering with senior leaders to embed robust risk practices and drive strategic outcomes. Youll play a key role in shaping Suncorps risk culture and governance across the Technology & Operations function.
What Youll Do
- Provide second line oversight of technology and data risks including AI and cyber security ensuring effective identification assessment and mitigation
- Partner with business leaders to embed risk awareness into strategic and operational decision-making
- Deliver insights from internal and external data trends to inform risk appetite and governance
- Advise on the interpretation and implementation of risk frameworks policies and standards
- Represent the Risk Function on key initiatives providing strategic and tactical guidance
- Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement across the Risk Function
What Youll Bring
- 10 years experience in risk management with deep expertise in technology data and AI risk
- Proven second line of defence experience and strong understanding of cyber security protocols
- ISACA CISM certification or equivalent (highly desired) plus relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to navigate complex environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset
- Passion for innovation and emerging tech trends with a proactive approach to risk leadership
