The CARES Program at The John Boner Center is growing! We are currently hiring three key roles that support low-income individuals and families through energy assistance and other eligibility-based programs. Whether youre passionate about client service team leadership or program management we have a place for you on our dedicated team.
1. CARES Eligibility Specialist
Best fit for: Detail-oriented individuals with strong processing and data entry skills.
As an Eligibility Specialist youll interpret policy to process energy assistance applications verify eligibility and communicate with applicants primarily by phone and email. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced behind-the-scenes environment.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 years of customer service or administrative experience
- Strong computer data entry and organizational skills
2. CARES Team Lead
In this hands-on leadership role youll oversee daily workflow audit application processing provide team training and ensure quality standards are met. Youll work closely with staff and management to support continuous improvement and client service excellence.
Ideal for candidates who:
- Have 5 years of experience with eligibility-based programs
- Are skilled team leaders and problem-solvers
- Balance administrative detail with people-focused coaching
3. CARES Frontline Services Manager
This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overall program management staff supervision compliance and performance tracking. Youll lead process improvements report to stakeholders and ensure services meet both regulatory and client needs.
Ideal for candidates who:
- Have extensive experience in program administration and staff supervision
- Are adept at using data to drive program performance
- Can manage multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality service delivery
