Intermediate Litigation Paralegal
Salary: $Our client a full-service mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver is seeking a full-time Intermediate Litigation Paralegal to join their litigation department.
Who You Are
- A team-oriented professional with experience in insurance defence and construction litigation.
- Highly organized able to work independently and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong communicator with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Create organize and maintain document databases using eDiscovery software.
- Review files identify legal issues and ensure all relevant records and documents are obtained.
- Assist counsel in preparing for examinations for discovery mediations and trials.
- Prepare draft and manage legal documentation including court applications chronologies and trial briefs.
What You Bring
- 5 10 years of relevant paralegal experience (litigation focus preferred).
- Completion of a Paralegal program is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent document drafting abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
- High level of accuracy reliability and initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Word Adobe and eDiscovery software.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80000 $90000 commensurate with experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package including RRSP Matching Program.
