Job Summary (List Format):
- Provide RF engineering support for small cell sales project implementation and maintenance/modification of DAS and Small Cell Networks (SCN) in Southern California.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Design and propose DAS and small cell network solutions including site selection data analysis and propagation modeling.
- Prepare technical documentation such as node candidate evaluations wiring diagrams equipment lists and as-built/closeout documents.
- Conduct power design for nodes (AC/DC) and modify designs using AutoCAD.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with FCC OSHA and city guidelines (including RF emissions noise and interference).
- Oversee multi-node outdoor SCN system optimization and support the integration of new technologies.
- Manage vendors to complete RF engineering scope and support configuration testing optimization and commissioning of networks.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues and provide NOC support.
- Perform field validation and testing (RF fiber spectrum analyzers power meters pilot scanners).
- Recommend system upgrades based on ongoing testing and analysis.
- Travel approximately 15% of the time to the Irvine CA office and project sites (mostly remote work).
- Maintain a high volume of projects adapt to new technologies and deliver results under pressure.
- Report to the RF Engineering team and work in a primarily office-based environment with some fieldwork.
