Position: Process Engineer
Shift: 1st Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Process Engineer with experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for developing optimizing and maintaining manufacturing processes with a strong focus on CNC machining. The ideal candidate will be hands-on analytical and able to work cross-functionally to ensure continuous improvement in quality efficiency and safety.
Job Responsibilities

Analyze design and implement manufacturing processes to support
production and improve efficiencies. - Develop and maintain CNC machining processes and programs(primarily 5-axis) for new and existing parts.
- Collaborate with machinists and production staff to troubleshoot process and tooling issues.
- Evaluate and improve tooling selection speeds/feeds and cutting strategies.

Design and document standardized work instructions setup sheets and process flows.

Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality and process issues.

Assist with new product introduction and ensure smooth transition from engineering to production.

Recommend and lead process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity scrap and downtime.
Requirements
-
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing
Engineering or related field preferred. - 3-5 years of process engineering experience in a CNC machining environment in overhaul aerospace
- Strong understanding of CNC programming (Mastercam or similar) and G-code.
- Familiarity with GD&T blueprint reading and precision measurement tools.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.

Able to work on-site in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
