To support our operations and growth we are seeking a Remote Verification Engineer to join our team and ensure that our systems processes and data remain accurate secure and compliant.
Position Overview
The Verification Engineer will be responsible for performing in-depth verification validation and testing of our operational and technical systems. This role will involve ensuring data accuracy process integrity compliance with internal policies and adherence to industry standards. Candidates must reside in the United States and provide a valid government-issued ID for employment verification.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed verification and validation test plans for business and technical systems.
Review requirements specifications and technical documents to ensure clarity and testability.
Identify document and resolve discrepancies inconsistencies or system errors.
Perform functional regression and integration testing to confirm system reliability.
Collaborate with IT operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless data flow and secure processes.
Monitor ongoing system changes to maintain compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
Prepare comprehensive verification reports and present findings to management.
Assist in implementing process improvements and automation to enhance system efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to data security and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Resident and able to provide a valid government-issued ID.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Proven experience as a Verification Engineer QA Engineer Test Engineer or in a similar technical verification role.
Strong understanding of verification methodologies testing frameworks and quality assurance best practices.
Experience with database verification data integrity checks and process validation.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA TestRail Selenium or similar verification/testing software.
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the hospitality food service or retail industry.
Knowledge of compliance regulations (PCI HIPAA or data security standards).
Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Python SQL or similar).
Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
