Star Nursing is actively seeking dedicated RNs for exciting opportunities. If you are looking for a flexible schedule competitive pay and a supportive team we want to hear from you.

Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Length: TBD
Shifts: 8-hour shifts for a balanced work-life schedule
Pay Rate: Earn up to $41 per hour for all taxable hours

Travel Pay Options:

TRAVEL - $30/HR
TRAVEL NO HOUSING/SPLIT PAY - $20/hr (taxable) $960(tax-free) $1560/40hours (20/24-44)

Qualifications:

Active RN License in the state of Pennsylvania (required).
Previous MDS experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (preferred).
Strong working knowledge of RAI guidelines PDPM and CMS regulations.
Familiarity with MDS software systems (e.g. PointClickCare MatrixCare etc.).
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) from AANAC is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Administer nursing care to ill injured or disabled patients
Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
RN PA In good standing
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
IV Certification
Current - BLS/CPR
Skills checklist
Copy or drivers license and SS card
Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
