Job Description
Our Team:
Online pet supply retailer is building innovative and exciting solutions to align with the companys mission to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents and partners everywhere.
Your Role:
As a Software Engineer You will be contributing to the design development testing prod releases and on-call support on React JS based UI frameworks and backend system for applications.
What Youll Do:
Design and develop UI Components using ReactJS & frontend technologies focusing on scalability latency and resiliency.
Actively participate in architecture and code reviews to deliver high quality code.
Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as grooming planning demos and retros.
Make meaningful contributions to the teams service architecture data architecture dev-ops infrastructure as code deployment pipelines and public cloud services as part of a software development team.
Adhere to enterprise architecture and coding standards.
Create enhance or integrate APIs using ReactJs and Java.
Participate in on-call rotations troubleshooting production issues and operational excellence.
You will have responsibility over components of systems both development and operational needs.
Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
Debug production issues in services and tech stack.
Be a hands-on Engineer spending most of your time writing code or debugging complex issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (CS related preferred) or equivalent work experience.
4 years of experience in front end technology.
Minimum 3 years of software development experience in ReactJS framework.
Minimum 1 years of software development in Java / Spring Boot stack.
Experience in professional software engineering practices throughout the full software development lifecycle including designing developing conducting code reviews managing source control overseeing build processes testing deployment and operations.
Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals object-oriented design data structures algorithm - design problem solving and complexity analysis
Analytical abilities and design skills & a working knowledge of design patterns
Experience with designing building and deploying features
Ability to learn domain knowledge in e-commerce.
