An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Sales Business Development Specialist to join a dynamic Data Center Sales team. Were seeking a driven and results-oriented professional with a strong mix of consultative sales strategic planning and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational abilities a passion for technology and a proven track record in identifying and converting sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and engage with potential customers
- Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients
- Monitor industry trends to uncover new sales opportunities
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Generate leads including cold calling
- Research market and competitive landscape
- Promote and sell ICT products and services
- Stay updated on product offerings including Microsoft and Veeam
- Provide updates to customers on new products and solutions
Requirements:- Matric / Grade 12
- Experience in ICT sales (preferably in the data center or infrastructure space) - 2 years minimum
- Strong hunter mindset and sales-driven approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer engagement abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Own reliable transport is essential
- A solid understanding of the IT industry and current technology trends
