MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide electrical services and perform maintenance repairs and replacements on all relevant systems infrustructure and equipment in the locality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Perform Technical jobs within the locality
- Perform administration duties within the technical function
- Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality
- Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality
- Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subject:
- Mathematics Science or Industrial Electronics Electro-technology or equivalent
- and Trade test certification: Electrical(3-phase) with Wiremans license (Installation Electrician 3-phase)
- or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)
- OR
- NQF level 6 Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with Thermodynamics
- and Electro Technology passed at 2nd-year level.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUN EXPERIENCE
If registered Installation Electrician 3-phase: more than 5 years experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Occupational Safety Health and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
- Mentoring of technical team members
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Electrical regulations and guides
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Heating and air conditioning systems
- Test equipment and devices
- Maintenance and repair of electrical systems
- Alarm Panels IT Networks &Communication Systems
- Skills and knowledge of building maintenance issues
