How you will create an impact

Management and lead the Business Development Managers and Sales assistant Team. This Branch Manager is the focal point of contact and engagement of Brokers of So Paulo Country Side area.

This Branch Manager will report directly to the Head of National Broker Channel and will develop and execute strategies to improve sales on Commercial Lines and Personal Insurance. Will execute Local Brokers Strategies aligned with high growth (due market possibilities) deconcentrating brokers reducing volatility and profitability drive. This position will also develop relationship and engage local brokers and main clients. It will work strategically with profit center managers and marketing and communications claims and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build valuable relationships with key personnel
  • Serve as the senior AIG point of contact for key broker partners
  • Formulate Strategic Business Plans with brokers to identify critical client focus areas existing AIG alignment and forward-looking opportunities for increased partnership
  • Identify and maintain regular collaborative dialogue with key business influencers at major brokerage operations
  • Champion new and existing business initiatives working with the Managing Directors Broker Engagement and Underwriting Business Partners
  • Collaborate with Senior leadership to ensure Client Centric Focus is integrated into all sales and business planning
  • Develop and implement collaborative marketing strategies to achieve business production and performance goals for the Zone
  • Manage account and product portfolio across Distribution and Profit Center resources
  • Drive the AIG value proposition and ensure that clients are aware of the array of products services and solutions (enterprise-wide) available and enhance exposure to AIG
  • Develop plans to improve portfolio and account performance enhance service and strengthen relationships with major account clients
  • Deliver results in new business production and cross selling from existing clients in line with set objectives
  • Meet or exceed client retention and premium retention goals for Major Account Segment in the Zone

What youll need to succeed

  • Bachelors degree
  • Recognized experience as a Leader at sales area of Insurance Companies
  • Proven client relationship / management experience
  • Experience in P&C Insurance
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to influence brokers clients peers senior executives and staff
  • Ability to manage complex global insurance relationships
  • Strong financial and accounting skills to effectively engage at the senior management level
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced English Skills is a plus
