About This Role
As a Measure Technician you will:
Accurately measure window and door openings to ensure proper fit and installation
Document site dimensions conditions and potential challenges using digital or manual tools
Communicate clearly with homeowners about the process setting expectations for installation timelines
Collect required forms permits or payments as needed while representing the company with professionalism
Resolve discrepancies between sales contracts and job site realities recommending adjustments where needed
Collaborate with field managers installers and office staff to ensure smooth scheduling and project flow
Maintain accurate records and timely reports for ordering and production
Typical schedule: MondayFriday with occasional Saturdays based on customer demand
Key Qualifications
23 years of experience in window/door installation construction or field measuring
High school diploma or equivalent required (technical/trade background preferred)
Proficiency with measuring tools (tape laser measure angle finder)
Ability to read blueprints and interpret product specifications
Familiarity with residential remodeling and construction site environments
Strong communication problem-solving and customer service skills
Professional detail-oriented and self-motivated
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting small tools/materials (mileage reimbursed)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders/scaffolds up to the 3rd floor
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
OSHA or EPA RRP certifications preferred but not required
